Dear Billy Corgan,
Thank you for continuing to make music. I enjoyed a lot of the stuff you did with Smashing Pumpkins, and you seemed pretty cool when I heard you on Howard.
I just wanted to let you know that I had a friend steal your new Zwan
album from the Internet, and I put it in the CD player as I began typing this letter. The first song was cool enough.
If I like the album, I promise that I will buy it
from half.com. I can’t afford – and refuse to – spend $20 on a CD. I’m sure you understand.
P.S. Your solos are still flamboyant.
